Why do blue question mark boxes appear instead of images in Outlook for Mac?

By default, Outlook for Mac doesn't automatically download pictures or photos in email messages if the images are stored on the Internet. As a result, you may see blue question marks instead of actual pictures in your emails.

Good news! You can change this setting. Here are the steps to do so:


1. Open the Outlook client.

2. Go to the Outlook menu and select Settings.

3. In the Email section, click on Reading.


4. On the Reading page, select Automatically to download external images.


5. Save your changes and close the Settings window.
