By default, Outlook for Mac doesn't automatically download pictures or photos in email messages if the images are stored on the Internet. You might see blue question marks instead of pictures in your mail like this:


Good news! You can turn this setting off. Please follow these steps to do this:


1. Start the Outlook client.

2. Navigate to the Outlook menu and select Settings.

3. Under the Email section, click Reading.


4. On the Reading page, select "Automatically" for the Download external images.


5. Save the changes and exit the Settings window.
